To be eligible, you have to provide us with an authorization number from the Credit Union Member Discount from GM web site along with a membership card, current statement, and/or a personal check from your participating credit union. Financing is available through any institution of your choosing; you don't have to finance through your credit union. There is no limit to the number of vehicles you can purchase using the Credit Union Member Discount, and you can also share the discount with other members of your household.
Many local credit unions are participating, including AllSouth, Palmetto Citizens, Carolina Collegiate, Palmetto Health, and SC State. For the full list of participating credit unions, visit the Credit Union Member Discount from GM web site.
In addition, there are a few restrictions on the discount:
- You must retain a vehicle purchased under the program for a minimum of six (6) months.
- Some of our vehicles may not be eligible for various reasons; let us know when you first call or come by that you want to use the GM Credit Union Member Discount so we can make sure the vehicle you want is eligible.
- Cadillac and Saab models are not eligible for the Credit Union Member Discount from GM.
