An available Eaton Automatic Locking Differential, standard on SLT models, is designed to improve low-speed traction whether you choose 2WD or 4WD. The differential "locks" when the speed difference between the rear tires reaches approximately 100 RPM, forcing both rear wheels to rotate at the same speed. This allows more of the driveline's torque to go to the tire with better traction. The Canyon Extended Cab is the first model in its class to offer factory-installed under-seat storage with a flat loading floor, providing you with additional storage space.
